Wilwood Engineering has been a long time provider of braking components used on Don Davis Race Cars. This proportioning valve is used to prevent tire lock-up under hard braking.
The new generation of adjustable proportioning valves combines the latest refinements to deliver precise pressure metering and strength from a compact forged billet design. Pressure adjustments range from 150-1200 PSI and provide for a maximum decrease of 57% in line pressure, the most of any available valve. Adjuster knob with fine thread tuning provides precise pressure adjustment. Valves weigh only 5.2 ounces and have two .25” side mounting holes spaced 1.00” apart. Inlet / outlet ports are 1/8-27 NPT and valves are supplied with two 1/8-27 NPT to 3/8-24 inverted flare female fittings that will fit most domestic 3/16th hard brake lines.
